Randy Hann '69 and Barb Bednarz '69 are Maine West's recipients of the Sons of the American Revolution a n d Daughters of the American Revolution citizenship awards.

Randy and Barb were selected as finalists by the faculty from among six other nominees. The selection of the winners was based on the qualities of dependability, leadership, service, and patriotism.

"I really am honored that my fellow students and the fac­ulty considered me deserving of such a worthwhile award," revealed Randy, winner of the SAR award.

Barb also explained her sentiments commenting, "It's one of the greatest honors I've ever received."

Randy and Barb will receive medallions from the Des Plaines Chapters of the Sons of the American Revolution and the Daughters of the American Revolution as tokens of their achievements.
