The profits gleaned from the annual Maine West V‑Show have finally been tallied; and with all expenses taken care of, Student Council made $2,108.86.
The next big fund raising project for Council will be a GI drive and concert, probably to be held sometime in May with the profits going to the U.S.O. for use by the servicemen in Viet Nam.

Council is also working on a means to raise money for albums to supplement the limited selection of records available at the Maine West WMTH studio. A spring dance or a record drive where each homeroom buys one album for the station are the ideas under consideration. Representatives are surveying homerooms for student opinions.
The rolls, milk, and coffee sold Tuesday and Thursday mornings by Student Council seems to be a successful program. Next, Key Club and Council would like to sell newspapers in the Path during lunch periods.
