I wish to take this opportunity to thank you for the fine assistance given by the Westerner staff during the campaign to get the "yes" vote on December 14.

Your editorials were well written, and I am certain they were very effective. In fact, the cooperation of the student body as a whole was excellent, and many of us feel that it was the splendid efforts of the students that doubled the Maine West "yes" vote.
