Come one, come all, to the unbelievable Maine West Magic Circus.
See dare‑devil skier Steve Waecker ski off the slope, down the hill, into a creek, and come up laughing.
Next we have the‑comedy team of Scott Small, Bob Slipke, Ian Gordon, Kevin Hemple, Kurt Meyer, Larry Serowka, and Scott Doherty who will line up at the cafeteria windows before school and watch the girls go by.
Be amazed at the death‑defying duo, Lynn Callarman and Bill Erickson, who will toboggan full speed down a hill and into a garbage can.
Our unequaled side show includes Eric Dahl who will dive off his desk in English class into a cake. His sidekick, Mr. Mendralla, demonstrates his fantastic magical abilities by removing his vest with his suit coat on.
At alternate performances Debbie Jobst will hop down the A-wing stairs on one leg.
The star of our show is magician Jim Webster, who can make crowds of people disappear from a party and have them turn up in a Volkswagon.
To top off the whole fantastic show, see the iron‑headed Marty Swanson put his head through the ceiling while being propelled by a rubber band and a meter stick, courtesy of Mr. Bergdolt's physics classes.
We have a unique merry‑go‑round invented by Joannie McManus which allows you to pass up the landing on the ski lifts and ride back down to the lodge.
If you happen to be hungry by now, Beth Corey is selling 1,000 pounds of popcorn. Or perhaps you would like to try one of Rick Cordt's oatmeal cookies. If you prefer more exotic food, see the wrestling team. It's been said they have their own delicatessen.
Ah! But all good things must come to an end.
When you return home, perhaps you'd like to put up your feet, relax, and watch T.V. John Schmidt is starring in "Day in Court." In this week's episode he can't decide whether or not he is guilty.
But, if you are not the type who goes for rest and relaxation, maybe you would like to go to Pat Cordts five‑day party. These five days are in no way related to Jeff Hoke's stick deodorant. Anyway, people from even as far as Crystal Lake will be there. Did you hear that, Mr. Marine?
And now for Lou Brunton's resolution to do more extensive experiments. The Science Department resolves not to let him.
Byiee!
