Jr. Class Presents
Mexican PTC Party

The Maine West cafeteria was the scene of the Junior Class P.T.C. party held on January 25. This annual affair was made more enjoyable and festive with the choice of a Mexican theme.

The Crosstown Traffic provided the music for the event. Members of the Junior Class also performed skits to entertain the parents and students.

Tamales and punch were served as refreshments to add to the Mexican theme.

The annual P.T.C. party is held to bring the parents and students closer together in a school activity. These parties are usually very enjoyable for both parents and students alike.

Parents of the students were asked for donations to cover the cost of the party. The money remaining from the donations was placed in the class treasury and used to finance the Junior Prom.

Dave Atkinson, president of the Junior Class, commented, "The P.T.C. party was a success although there was some lack of interest. We were, however, able to add a considerable amount to our treasury through the donations from the parents. This will enable us to increase our Prom budget."

The other class officers are Joe Szabo, vice‑president; Jan Olenicki, treasurer; and Joanie McManus, secretary. Mr. Richard Frey and Mrs. Patricia DeGeeter are the class sponsors.
