Wandering Warrior

Question: Do you feel it is too late to remedy the pollution problem? Why?

Bob Trebilcock '70 ‑ Maybe, I can't really say because the government won't even have the money to solve the pollution problem till 1972.

Steve Fager '73 ‑ No, Commonwealth Edison and U.S. Steel are our two greatest pollutors. If we all go down and bomb them out, half of our pollution problem would be gone.

Nancy Hansen '70 ‑ No, it's been proven it could be stopped; it's only a matter of money. Why not spend a little money and save a few lives.

Bonnie Bridwell '70 ‑ Yes, I think the end of the world is coming Monday.

Mark Greene '72 ‑ They say if it goes on the way it is, we'll all be dead by the year 1985. They also say we won't have it cleared up until 1990. And since the government doesnt give a darn, we all have 15 years to live.

Diana Theos '72 ‑ No, but pretty soon it won't be a miracle to walk on water.

Roy Pohl '71 ‑ No, we're still around, aren't we?

Doloris Fobes '73 ‑ It started gradually, and I think it'll end gradually.

Sue Batdorf '71 ‑ I just think that it is a pity the reason for most people's concern over pollution is not because they suddenly woke up to the fact that it is a problem, but that it is the new fad for the 70's.

Jim Waffle '71 ‑ I hope so; if we can put a man on the moon, we should be able to solve our problems here on earth.

Annette Gargano '70 ‑ They can stop; they just don't want to spend the money. They'll try all right, but after it's too late.

Jack Keegan '70 ‑ God will destroy us anyway . . .start praying he'll do it soon.

Jerry Watkins '72 ‑ Yes, my biology teacher said we're all going to die in five years.

Chris Schwarz '71 ‑ I hope not. I want to live a few more years. I have this thing about life.

Emil Eck '70 ‑ There is little we cannot accomplish but I still see a need for a major push in the right direction.

Scott Wagner '72 ‑ It won't be too late until we all die.

Don Hammer '70 ‑ I am confident that within 100 years the populous of our country will be in a position to turn our country back to the state in which it was before our ancestors, the pilgrims, (God bless them) landed on this soil.

Jeff Crisafulli '72 ‑ If we start now, it isn't; but if we let it go any longer, it'll just kill us off.
