In the intramural basketball tournament Coach Thomas Frederick' ninth period senior class, Coach David Kennedy's fourth period junior class, Coach Roger King's ninth period sophomore squad, and Coach Frederick's fourth period freshman team were all victors in their basketball games as they won two out of the three games that they played.

In the intramural weightlifting contests, seniors Jim Mandick lifted the most weight according to his weight than either Dave Atkinson or Dave Boesehe. Mandick with his weight of 181 pounds lifted a total of 510 pounds. Dave Atkinson lifted 510 pounds also but he weighed in at 186 pounds, five pounds more than Mandick. Dave Boesehe lifted more weight than any of his other opponents, 520 pounds, but he lists as a 205 pounder and consequently he came in third place.

In other class tournaments, junior Nick Fininis finished first by lifting a combined total of 510 pounds while sophomore John Fleming and freshman Gary Smogolski finished first in their class.
