If you do not know it already, Larry Portman '71 is to be next year's Student Council president. Jerry Palarz will be the vice‑president.

The Election Week reached an anti‑climax on Friday night, April 10, at the poorly attended Election Jitney. The band that played had its own private practice session.

At the time of the election, there were no candidates for the office of secretary. There are currently five girls running for

secretary of Student Council. The girls are Lois Benton, Marji Cameron, Paulette Jados, Amy Robertson, and Pat Tures, all juniors.

The three girls with the most votes will campaign for the office of secretary of Student Council the week of May 4-8. Each girl will have the opportunity to speak in homeroom to the four classes.

Voting will take place for the candidates on the day each class listens to the speakers. The result of the election will be announced May 8.
