In a recent interview, returning letterman for the golf team, Ed Duchaj '70, commented about Coach Eugene Zuccarini, "He is really an impressive person. He makes everyone work hard, and he knows how to get the most effort from his players."
Ed claimed the weather interfered with the team's practice.
He said, "The rich people's brats from other schools go down south to Florida to practice during the spring vacation, while we are home with bad weather conditions."
He also stated that it is against conference rules for a team to go to another state to practice, yet certain schools broke this rule.

In Ed's opinion, Maine should have a representative downstate. He commented, "Bob Edwards has a better chance to go downstate than anybody in the last four or five years from Maine West."
Ed concluded by saying, "I always admired the late Tony Lema as one of the greats in pro golf."
He also stated, "I hope to attend Bradley University and further my education and possibly seek a pro career. He ended by saying that he truly likes Tony‑O, the greatest goaltender in the whole wide world.
