Council Proposes New Scheduling

Student Council has proposed establishing a self‑imposed schedule system for next year. The proposed plan would enable students to miss classes. In place of classes the students could go to labs, study halls, PAR, the library, or other classes (if the student has permission from the teacher). This proposal is to help the student learn responsibility. The student is also going to learn how to make decisions and how to evaluate his choices.

In order to participate in this program, a person must have been on the A or B honor roll at the semester. He must also have the permission of his parents and counselor. If he gets permission from these people, he will be issued a special ID. If any student is found to be misusing this privilege, it will be revoked. Anyone visiting another room must be in that room by the time the tardy bell rings.
