Prom, Dream Train Climax
Four Years

The week of May 25‑29 has been designated as Senior Week. The week will be devoted to special activities just for seniors. On June 5 the seniors will hold their Prom. A Dream Train ride follows the Prom.

Senior Week begins with Bike Day on Tuesday, May 26. On that day, every senior is supposed to ride his or her bike to and from school. On Wednesday, the seniors will hold Hat Day. Every senior should wear a hat during school.

The Senior Breakfast is on Thursday. The breakfast will be held from homeroom to third period. It will be at the O'Hare Oasis and any senior may attend.

Senior Week will end with a picnic on Friday. The picnic will be from sixth period through the end of school. It is scheduled to be held on the football field.

"Cest Fini," the Senior Prom, will take place on June 5 at Chevy Chase Country Club in Wheeling. The Prom will last from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. Jim Bestman and his Orchestra will provide entertainment.

Following the Prom, seniors and their dates can ride the Dream Train to the Playboy Lodge in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Before the train leaves at 1 am., the couples will be served a midnight supper at the Elks Club. The train will arrive at Lake Geneva at 6 am, in time for breakfast.

At the lodge, the couples can swim, play volleyball, badminton, or tennis. At 11:30 am. they will eat lunch and then start for home. The price for the Dream Train is $17.50 per person. Ticket sales will close on May 29.

The seniors in charge of these activities are Laura Dalbke, initiations and bids; Lydia Miller, publicity; and Dorrie Johnson and Scott Hayward, general chairmen.
