A touch of the Old West will come to Maine West this March 19, 20, and 21. Presented will be this year's musical Annie Get Your Gun.
During this past week most of the directors were chosen. They are Debbie Paulin '70, student director; Sharon Siegfort '71, student vocal director; Roy Hansen '70, orchestra assistant; Sue Chamberlin '70, head accompanist; and Sue Winn '70 and Sue Chamberlin '70, production number directors.
Also included are Don Riddle '71, lighting; Jan Whitehouse '70, make‑up; Carolyn Toren '70, programs, and Val Martin '70, props.
Faculty sponsors include Mr. Gerald Hug, publicity; Mr. Garth Boyer, drama coach; Mr. Robert Kuite, band; and Mr. Donald Lord, vocal director.
Student directors and production assistants are needed in the following areas: choreography, publicity, stage management, ushering, and set construction. Dancers will also be needed. If any students are interested, they should complete the audition blanks in E‑204 giving full information and qualifications.

Many familiar songs can be heard in this musical. Some of them include: "Colonel Buffalo Bill,""I'm a Bad, Bad Man," "Doin' What Comes Natur'lly," "They Say It's Wonderful," "Moonshine Lullaby," "Wild West Pitch Dance," "Lost in His Arms," and "Old Fashioned Wedding."
Starring in this play are Jill Whetham '71 and Bonnie Bridewell, '70 as Annie. The male lead, Frank Butler, will be played by John Berner '70 and Ned Peterson '71. Dolly is played by Cheri Wittbold '71 and Lynn Kwaterski '71.
Charlie and Buffalo Bill are the secondary male leads. Charlie will be played by Dave 0'Grady '70 and Bob Trebilcock '70. Doug Kuite '71 will be Buffalo Bill.
Jeff Hanus '70 will play Foster Wilson; Pawnee Bill will be interpreted by Mark Koerner '70; and Sitting Bull will be Mike Maxa '71.
