Home Ec Sponsors Contest

Sheryl Ingrish '71, president of Home Ec Club, asks all Maine West girls to "please help us make this contest a success." She is referring to the organization's stuffed animal contest.

All stuffed toys turned in before March 13 will go to children in an orphanage. The girl who makes the most animals will receive a charm bracelet and a Maine West charm. A girl need not be a member of Home Ec Club to participate.

The toys made must conform to the following four rules. They must be six inches to 12 inches in height or length, stuffed with foam rubber or nylons and made of a washable material. Also the toy should have no items with which a child could injure himself or put into his mouth.
