"Whereas, the Maine West Music Boosters, an organization of the parents of Music students in the High School are underwriting and assisting in the production of The Sound of Music, with proceeds to be used to further the musical education of the students by scholarships, special projects, etc., therefore, I, Herbert H. Behrel, Mayor of the City of Des Plaines, do hereby proclaim, March 12, 1971 as MUSIC BOOSTER DAY, and urge all residents of the City of Des Plaines to be Music Boosters by cooperating and supporting this fine production."
