Orchesis Plans Show 'We Tried But...'

Orchesis is working on their show, "We Tried But..." to be presented May 7 and 8 at 8 p.m. in the auditorium. The girls are going to make their own costumes to fit each dance.


Last Friday's trip to Wilmot was the last this year for the Ski Club. A banquet is being planned for the members and sponsors where they will also show movies of some of the trips they took during the year.

Sue Kern '72, secretary of Ski Club, said, "This year has been the best as far as weekend trips. Everybody had a lot of fun because they all "THOUGHT SNOW."

The First Annual Winter Fun Festival sponsored by Ski Club was held March 12 at 7 p.m. There was a costume competition, and awards were presented.

M‑Club is working on the plans for a picnic which will be held at the end of May.


Bowling Club celebrates the end of their season with a banquet May 11 at 6 p.m. at the Elk's Club. Trophies will be awarded to the deserving members, and a band will provide entertainment. Members will bowl every Tuesday until the date of the banquet.


Girls' Gymnastics Club is practicing every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday for their tri‑school meet against Maine South and Maine East. The meet will be held here March 30.


Iota Chi Sigma is planning a dinner for March 29 here at Maine West. Senior members will receive the awards that they have earned over the years in the club.
