Dear Editor:
This letter is in regard to the recent homeroom assemblies showing a preview of The Sound of Music. I would first of all like to thank the Freshman and Sophomore Classes for their attentiveness during the assemblies, but I would also like to continue to say that several other people along with myself were very disappointed by the behavior that was displayed by the upper classmen during the preview.

all. I find it rather amusing, but also rather disappointing that the underclassmen are the ones who set the good example. It is difficult to believe that a group of 17 and 18-year-old people aren't even mature enough to sit through a 20-minute assembly.
Many teenagers today are fighting for lowering the voting age to 18, saying they're mature enough to vote, yet many of them can't sit still through a high school assembly. Something like that can really make a person wonder.
