Junior Class Sponsors Prom;
Decorations Center, on Spring

"We've Only Just Begun" will be the title of the Junior Prom for the Class of '72. The Al Ford Orchestra will play at the prom to be held from 8 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, May 15, in the Maine West auditorium.

"The decorations will be centered around a spring flower garden," says Kathy Jordan '72, chairman of the decorations committee. Included in the decorations will be a wishing well, a swing, and bright, colored flowers. A photographer will also be present for couples wanting their pictures taken. No definite cost has been decided, but pictures will be ready that same night.

The publicity committee, chaired by Terry Kastens '72 and Debbie Harsch '72, are in charge of getting up posters, putting announcements in the bulletin, and selling the tickets. Carol Gigante '72 is in charge of ordering and purchasing the tickets.

"Tickets are selling real well," said Terry Kastens, "but we would like to have all the members of the class present."

JoDee Rowells '72 is in charge of refreshments for the evening. They will consist of punch and cookies.

Tickets are being sold for $3.75 in the cafeteria during all lunch periods. Dress for the occasion will be formals for the girls and suits for the boys. At least one person of the couple must be a member of the Junior Class.

This year's officers are Ken Piest, president; Frank Darras, vice‑president; Laurie Felz, secretary; and Norma Just, treasurer. Class advisors are Mr. John Lord and Miss Stephanie Hays. Next year's officers will be announced the night of the prom.
