In Council

"Outside lunch" is now in its second week of the two‑week trial period set up by the administration. Students are allowed to eat their lunches outside in the designated area. Milk will be available outside, but no dishes from the cafeteria are allowed.

All students are responsible for their own clean‑up. If at the end of the two weeks, a committee of four, Mr. Eldon Burk, assistant principal; Mr. W. Rosenquist, chairman of guidance; Cindy Figge '73; and Ken Piest '72 decide that the area has not been kept clean, the plan will be canceled.

John Fisher '72 and Cindy Figge '73 attended the Illinois State Student Council Convention at the Sherman House on Thursday, April 22, to Saturday, April 24.

The convention consisted of a mixer on Thursday, and there was a general assembly on Friday. There were seminars on Student Councils, leadership, values, drugs, and drinking.
