Question: What topics would you like to see discussed in the Westerner and why?
Gail Wodzin '72 ‑ I would like to see Morfit back in the paper. Since it was taken out, there has been a lack of humor. Also I would like to see a space dedicated to the works of the art and photography students.
Lori Rowells '73 ‑ I would like to see a comic strip that would continue throughout the year and would have a surprise ending in the last issue of the year. We need more humor in the paper.
Debbi Mrowiec '72 ‑ The weather report. That's so us little kids won't be surprised when it rains on us.
Diane Esposito '71 ‑ An article discussing PAR and the purpose of PAR senate people and the teachers in charge there, because nothing is done about some of the kids' behavior.
Steve Mirro '72 ‑ I would like to see more news about school events. The community events should be left to the local city papers.
Karen Enzenbacher '73 I would like to see a teacher cut‑up column so the student body won't be entirely defenseless at the hands of the teachers. They have their behavior reports so why can't we?
Gail Mollenkamp '72 ‑ I would like to see some crossword puzzles in the Westerner. It's something to do in your blah study halls and PAR.

Bob Fitzgerald '73 ‑ I want to see Morfit put back in because that was the only article I could understand; and if it could be understood by more people, they may enjoy it more.
Steve Born '73 ‑ More sports articles and interviews with the athletes.
Kathy Heiwig '73 ‑ I want to see Morfit back because the paper needs more humor in it.
Kathy Oman '73 ‑ More editorials and more opinions by students. Also there is a need for a greater variety in the articles that are printed.
Paul Burchard '74 ‑ I believe the Westerner needs more creative articles and more cartoons.
Annette Mulling '73 ‑ I want to see Morfit in again because all that's in the paper are problems, problems, and more problems. Besides, it was funny.
Sue Blaha '74 ‑ I would like to see something of importance in the paper for once. It seems like all the popular kids get in there.
Darrice Owen '72 ‑ I would like to see some good jokes. Not old ones, though.
Joy Schulenburg '73 ‑ I would like to see more people to be able to write in articles and to have their articles or ideas published in the paper.
Joanne Wanegar '74 ‑ I would like to see more articles concerning the humorous events occurring within the school. I feel that presently the paper is in need of more humor.
