Girls from the Clothing III classes designed and made the fashions themselves. All clothing I, II and III girls were urged to participate in some way in the fashion show.
Foods I and II girls will make the refreshments to be served during the intermission.
Junior high girls and people of the community are invited to the fashion show, as well as Maine West students.

Tryouts for commentator for the show were held with Mrs. Verber and several home economics students as the judges. The commentators will be Sandi Schotts '74, Sue Car '73, Linda Milkie '72, and Jeri Gall '73. The alternates are Vicki Gillie '73 and Betty Sloan '72.
The scenery for the show is done by the girls in the home economics classes. Girls who do not model in the show will be working as commentators, on the scenery, or behind the stage.
There will be an orchestra, playing at the fashion show, which will be directed by Mr. Vaupel.
Mrs. Lucille Stiles, department chairman, commented on the show. "I think that the fact that the students are involved in planning the fashion show, selecting the theme, designing the program, writing the narrations, all aspects of the fashion show, contributes to the success of the production."
