Senior Keith Moranz remarked about the 1970‑71 baseball season, "They are a good team, but we haven't had any good breaks this season." Keith is a catcher for the Warrior baseball team.

He also commented, "They need better hitting this year to back up the good pitching."

Keith is planning to go to Northern Illinois University and perhaps major in business education. This year he is taking mathematics, psychology, anthropology, and English.

Keith began playing baseball on a local park district team at the age of nine and has been interested in the sport ever since. He also plays varsity football for Maine West.

When asked which sport he enjoys more, Keith said, "I think I enjoy baseball more because it is a relaxed sport although it requires a lot of skill. In football you have to be prepared to get your head beat in if you know what I mean."
