With the conclusion of this year's volleyball competition, many boys will receive first place recognition for their achievement and participation. Coach Tom Frederick's ninth period junior‑senior class mopped up all competition in their respective classes.

Senior winners were Tom Reeves, Mike Fitzgerald, Bruce Kerr, George Woodley, Stan Reed, Glenn Henrickson, Paul Stenstrom, Eric Dahl, Chuck Rucker, and Steve Skopick, while the junior team consisted of Fred Schmidt, Chris Mielke, Jeff Somerville, Bill Loris, Dan Schimmel, Larry Bierwirth, and John Woodley.

Coach Erv Geisler's second period class won the sophomore crown while Coach Al Carsten's seventh period group captured the freshman title. The sophomores were Bob Martin, Joe Prang, John Kois, Austin Rumzis, Steve Miller, and Nick Tywan.

Freshman titlists were Greg Fairhead, Dan Herweg, Steve Mudd, Orlando Martinez, Todd Jahnke, Scott Comstock, and Mike Mandelky.

The annual all school track meet will be held on Friday, May 21, with the juniors and seniors starting after ninth and the sophomores and freshmen after school. Events will include sprints, distance running, hurdles, and field events.
