Preparations have been underway since September for this year's V‑Show, "Collage of Colors." The show will be presented on November 19, 20, and 21. There will be a matinee performance on the twenty‑first. Tickets will be on sale at the bookstore and Maria Schaefer's Music Shop.

Breaking with tradition, this year there will be a Saturday matinee. When asked about this change, Mr. Daryl Schultz, faculty director, said that he thought this matinee will give more people a chance to come and see the show.

Among the acts are take‑offs on freshmen, Snow White and the seven dwarfs, garbage men, Romeo and Juliet, Rumpelstiltskin, and the Marx Brothers. Also included are acts based on greasers and strippers.

This year's act captains consist of Janice Andrews '73, Jan Barkell '71, Anne Brosseit '71, Marji Cameron '71, Bonnie Cassidy '73, Linda Costagli '73, Mary Anne Crosby '72, Carol Crowther '72, Cheryl Di Rago '71, and Jill Fedder '71.

Also included are Joni Huff '73, Pat Gages '71, Beth Heller '71, Colleen Kelly '72, Kathy Klamer '72, Lynn Kwaterski '71, Vicki Letto '71, Karen McGavin '74, Ellen Nygaard '71, and Matt O'Grady '73.

Completing the list are Jerry Palarz '71, Gwen Russel '73, Bob Scarola '72, Nancy Spiegler '71, Mike Taylor '72, Sue Wiese '71, Cheri Wittbold '71, Katie Young '71, and Maria de la Torre '71.

Gloria De Franco '71, choreographer of this year's show, held tryouts for the 1970‑71 dance chorus last October 8. At the tryouts the girls performed a routine that they were asked to prepare. On October 12, 12 girls were chosen. These girls are Deb Winclechter '71, Janice Johnson '71, Nancy Dema '72, Gail Nygaard '73, Sue Bednarz '72, Kathy Bober '71, Elaine Skahan '71, Jeannie Kennedy '74, Debbie Brod '73, Sue Anderson '73, Mary Grundler '72, and Jo Pocius '73. The assistant choreographer is Jan Kennedy '72.

Since V‑Show requires practically no scenery, the Art Department will be using abstract shapes instead of the backdrop scenery. These shapes will be stacked and arranged to give the desired effects.
