On a 10‑point system top scores from Maine West in each event were a 6.0 in free‑exercise and a 4.5 on trampoline from Steve Schwab '72. All-around man Rich Dancaster '71 scored a 5.5 on still rings, and a 6.2 was accomplished by senior Dean Koltz on high bar where he performed a difficult double‑somersault dismount.
On the side‑horse Jay Jacobs '71 scored a 5.4, and finally on parallel bars Mike Redmond '71 succeeded with a 5.8. John Leer '72 generally performing on free‑ex and tramp was absent from this meet due to illness.
