V-Show Appeals To Lynn |
|||||||||
| By LYNN MEADOWS Thank heaven for this lucky break! I mean for my getting into this year's V-Show '70, "To See Yourself." I went to see the tryouts in the auditorium when they were just getting started. Very few people were trying out for parts which surprised me. But there were quite a few people trying out for parts in "Feiffer's People," short comedy sketches that are being used this year to tie the V-Show together. Well, to make a long story short, I tried out for a part. And I got it. In the second week of tryouts, the number of hopefuls increased with each day. |
The next Monday, the results of the judges' selections were posted. Suddenly, a new and different, not to say exciting, V Show format emerged. This year's V-Show will have a lot of music and comedy in it. Mr. Ronald Mills, drama teacher and faculty adviser for V-Show, said that this year we will have a quick, slick, and hilarious show. V-Show has been such fun, even though it has only started. I can't wait to really get to work. Although I only have a small part, it's so great to meet so many fantastic guys and girls (especially the guys) who are have a common interest, which is to have fun and put on the best V-Show we've ever had at Maine West. |
