| Entering school in the fall, what did you notice most about Maine West? Nancy Sakel '74 - They're really cracking down on the kids with this new attendance system. Keith Michehl '75 - It's a lot bigger than Algonquin. Margaret Sheetz '73 -. The school seems smaller every year. Cindy Lambert '72 - I don't notice anything; I'm asleep all the time. Mr. Robert Dillingham - The size and the red tape. Anna Burlakow '75 - The people were friendly, and the school was big. Madonna Dowd '73 - People were getting heavier and heavier - like me for instance. Kathy Hartigan '72 - A lot more hair on a lot more teachers. John Richards '72 -The new WMTH sign. Mark Walkendorf '74 - They painted it. Val Bluemel '75 - When I first walked in, there were so many kids, it was hard for me to notice anything. John Duntemann '74 - The first thing I noticed was the freshmen. Rick Lange '73 - Freshman chicks. Kris Engleman '72 - I noticed that the couples who were going steady last year are broken up this year. Mary Curtin '73 - The gym floor in the pool locker room was shiny. Larry Chiles '72 - It's harder to drop a course this year. Patti Fiedler '73 - There are new cups in the Coke machine. Pat Damptz '75 - That it was huge and there were so many people. Sue Hoch '74 - How clean the place was. Linda Fiedler '73 - That painting in the library. I love it. Bill Boeckenhauer '75 - The school was big. There were a lot of people, but there were also a lot of kids that I knew. |
