National Honor Society Selects |

| This year's 26 junior National Honor Society winners include Lawrence Bierwirth, Judith Branding, Robert Brannon, Linda Costagli, Kathy Degenhardt, Mark Drysch, Jane Eisfeldt, and Nancy Evans. Other winners also include Cindy Figge, Gail Nygaard, Steve Menella, Philip Fischer, Ingrid Goebel, Gayle Haman, Curtis Henrich, Kathleen Ingrish, and Ronald Loewenherz. Still other winners are Robert McDonald, Douglas Meister, Roxanne Miller, James Moore, Micheal Parker, and Gary Trost. Finally there were Suzanne Sciez, Bruce Swartswalter, and Susan Winkleman. |
To be eligible for the honor, society, a junior must be in the upper five per cent of his class. Also, he can have no grade below a B. A senior must be in the upper five per cent of his class and have a B average. The students must have taken at least four full solids for all four years. Only 15 per cent of the whole senior class is selected. The students are voted by the faculty. The initiations will be held April 28 in the auditorium, and afterwards a reception is planned in the cafeteria for students and parents. |
