Classes Pick Prom Themes:
'On a Carousel,' 'Beginnings'
The Junior Prom will be held on Saturday, May 6, from 8:30 until 11 p.m. in the Maine West auditorium.

The theme chosen by the Junior Class was "On a Carousel." They plan to have a carousel placed in the center of the auditorium floor.

The Ross Anderson Orchestra will provide the entertainment. Refreshments will be served. Dress is to be formal.

A price has not been decided upon as of yet. Juniors will be informed of the price as soon as it is known.
 The Senior Prom will be held on Friday, June 9, at the Michigan Shores Country Club in Wilmette from 8:30 until 11:30. "Beginnings" is the theme that the Senior Class has chosen.

The Ross Anderson Orchestra will also perform at the Senior Prom. Dress is also formal.

The Senior Class has been working on a project to support the Prom. Seniors are selling stationery at school in order to raise funds. If they raise enough money, the Prom will be free. Otherwise the cost would be no more than $2.25, the same as last year.

- - As of yet there are no plans for after the Prom, and there will not be any plans until the parents of the Senior Class decide.
