Tryouts To Be Held |

| Tryouts for Maine West's Pom-Pon Squad will be held May 8 through the 12. On Monday the eighth and Tuesday the ninth the girls will learn a routine. Preliminary tryouts will be held on Wednesday. The last clinic will take place on Thursday, and in final tryouts on Friday, 20 girls will be chosen. All candidates must have at least a C average. The sponsor is Miss Linda Haka. |
Varsity cheerleading tryouts will be held April 17 through April 20. Clinics will be held Monday through Wednesday. Any sophomore or junior can try out. Eight cheerleaders will be chosen. Sophomore tryouts will be held the following week, April 24-27. All girls are urged to give it a try. The sponsor is Mrs. Nancy Kerby. |
