Badminton Team Holds Invitational
The Maine West girls' badminton team hosted "Badminton Is Our Racket," the 1972 Badminton Invitational here on April 2. Twelve schools attended, and approximately 96 matches were played during the day.

Ribbons were awarded in each of the eight divisions of both singles and doubles tournament.

In the singles division Carla Krebs '72 won a consolation prize in the championship division. Kim Tuttle '74 grabbed first place in the first division. 		Bonnie Serone '73 took second in the second division, and Monica Polacek '74 won a consolation for the third division.

In the doubles tournament juniors Denise Bell and Jean Anderson copped fourth place in the championship division, and Diane Ehorn '72 and Karen Neetz '74 took a consolation in the first division.

The freshman team of Karen Batey and Maureen Brock took third in the third division, and Sue Dolan '72 and Noreen Gilbertsen '74 walked away with the fourth place in the fourth division.
