| Craig Zaleski 72, has been named athlete of the year. Craig has been one of the busiest athletes at Maine West during his four year stay. He has excelled in football, basketball, and baseball. When Craig learned he had been chosen top athlete he said, "It is an honor and I was really surprised." He feels that one of the main reasons for his success are the coaches. He says, "The coaches have always been fair and have given me a fair shake." |
Craig has earned many honors and awards during his athletic career. He has received numerals, sophomore letters, and varsity letters. This past football season the 6'll", 185 lb. end was named to the All-Conference team, was the team's most valuable player, was All Area, and was once named lineman of the week." Currently Craig has a 3.0 grade average and is in the upper quarter of his class. This summer he plans to work and next fall he will be attending Wabash College. |
