| Kevin Wright '72 got interested in track in his freshman year at Maine West. He had tried out for the basketball team but could only make the "B" squad. He then decided to try out for the track team, because he had fared well in cross country. Kevin feels that track did not get enough support from the student body at Maine West. He recalls many times when the |
stands were almost empty. The final record for Coach Ronald Brown's team was a rather disappointing 2-4 indoors and 5-6 outdoors. After his graduation, Kevin hopes to attend a college in the fall of 1972. He says that he will continue to run and hopes to make the team in the college. He hasn't decided which college to attend yet. |
