Tennis, Track Finish Seasons
In the State Tennis Finals, Steve Wild and John Anderson were beaten 6-3, 6-4. Coach Roger King feels that both of these boys will be able to succeed in next year's finals because both of these boys are juniors and will hold up next year's squad.

Kevin Wright '72, Wayne Gyssler '72, Larry Franzen '73, and Bill Klippert '74 represented Maine West in the State

 Track Meet on May 26-27.

Wright finished 11th in the mile run. Gyssler missed his first three attempts in the pole vault and was eliminated. Franzen found the going rough as he bowed out of the 100-yard dash in the preliminaries and Klippert, after surviving the preliminaries, bowed out in the semi-finals.
