In Council
Student Council has been working on several up-coming events: Open Campus, school calendars, Homecoming, and V-Show being in the foreground.

Open Campus committee presented their plan to the Board of Education Thursday night, September 30. All interested students and their parents were invited.

Plans for a school exchange with schools which have Open Campus are being made. Service committee is also looking into the possibility of the soccer team using the football field.

Public Relations committee is selling calendars for $.50. They are available in the bookstore and from all Student Council members. This year they will also be sold at the Homecoming game. Dial Tones will be on sale soon.
 Students have shown interest in using the Des Plaines Public Library on Sundays. It has been considered, and the committee is trying to convince the library it is worthwhile.

Homecoming plans have been made with queen elections already started. Organizations committee chairman, Kathy McCann '72. is in charge with Julie Fidel '72 heading the queen election; Bruce Terry '73, the parade; and Carol Gigante '72, the pep assembly.

Forum committee's new chairman, George Kinser '72, is starting to look for possible speakers for the forums which will be held through the year.
