G.R.A.

G. R. A. will be holding a slumber party playnite on Friday, November 5, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday morning, in C-wing gym.

The many activities include swimming, volleyball, cageball, badminton, a talent show, and possibly scooters.

To help the girls settle down for a good night's sleep, the spooky movie, "The Mystery of the Thirteenth Guest," will be shown.

The playnite is open to all girls and refreshments will be served. Admission price is $1.50.

Scrimmage shirts are available in the bookstore and during all lunch periods for $4. These shirts, which are lighter than sweatshirts but heavier than tee shirts, have "Maine West Warriors" printed across the front and your school year on the bottom.
Volleyball will hold clinics November 1, 2, and 5, after school in C-wing. Tryouts are November 8 and 9 at 3:30 p.m. in C-wing gym. All girls are welcome.

The archery team held its last meet October 18 and was defeated by Glenbrook North, 9-11. The team played Maine North on the sixth and the fourteenth, and Wheeling on October 7. Maine West defeated the teams, 7-0. They lost to Glenbrook North on October 13, by a score of 6-14.

They totaled three wins and two losses. The archery team will play again in the spring.

The swim team has won one and lost four this year.
