Faculty Men To Compete Against M-Club in Game

Will the M-Club be victorious against the faculty again this year when they meet at the upcoming basketball game on Tuesday, November 16, at 7:30 p.m.? The clash in the spectator gym will be the thirteenth time that M-Club will face the faculty in a basketball game.

Last year's victory by the M Club caused quite an upset as it was the first by the students in Maine Township history. The students are again hoping for another break in history, by making this year's game a mirror image of last year's game.

The faculty, however, thinks that they will win this year's game. "We felt last year that we had to let the M-Club win so that we could enable students to keep interest in the game. That loss will inspire the faculty to greater heights than ever anticipated. To sum it all up, it will be no contest," quoted Mr. David Pitzele, playing coach of the faculty.
Another member of the faculty squad said, "Even though the M-Club is out to win, the faculty knows they'll take it on the chin."

The M-Club will keep their players secret until the night of the game. They have a halftime show lined up with pom-pon boys and cheerleader boys who appeared at the power-puff football game.

The faculty lineup is Mr. John Nugent, Mr. Eldon Burk, Mr. Ken Schreiner, Mr. Bob Dillingham, Mr. Norman Ladd, Mr. Don Olson, Mr. Les Jannusch, and Mr. Dan Carlson.

Also playing will be Mr. Don Talbot, Mr. Bob Rick, Mr. Elwood Hughes, Mr. Ira Green, Mr. Vic Giovannini, Mr. Brent Michaels, Mr. Sid Drain, and Mr. Bill Amason.
