Wild Wild West |

| "We did it again" rejoiced the Senior Class when they learned that they had done the impossible - won the float competition for four years! This year their winning entry was a realistic covered wagon which read, "Victory or Bust." The "Wild Wild West" weekend started with the pep assembly Friday morning which was highlighted by the appearance of Mr. Johnny Morris, television and football personality. |
A parade then made its way through downtown Des Plaines. During halftime of the game, the 1971 Homecoming queen was announced - Miss Debbie Jacobs. Her court consisted of: Sandy Beyer, Kathy Bos, Carol Gigante, Pat Heller, Jan Kennedy, Diana Lambert, Mary Kay Long, and Betty Sloan. The dance Saturday night carried out the western theme but was also accented with pumpkins. The queen and her court were presented at the dance which ended the activities of Homecoming 1971. |
