G.R.A.

The G.R.A. playnite was held last Friday night from 8 p.m. to Saturday morning at 10 am. The activities started with relays in the C-wing gym. The girls were grouped by their birthday months into six relay teams and had wheel-barrow and caterpillar races.

From 9 to 11 p.m. the girls had a choice between swimming or playing volleyball and badminton in C-wing.

Refreshments were served at 11 p.m. There was a wide variety of food including pretzels, popcorn, potato chips, brownies, and cookies. The girls had Coke to drink.
At about midnight the movie, "The City Under the Sea," was shown in L-101. Then at about 2 a.m. sloppy joes, potato chips, and lemonade were served.

Everyone returned to C-wing for skits and finally to sleep. Not all the girls slept, though; some stayed up talking and whispering into the very early hours, getting a little sleep before it was time to get up for milk and doughnuts.
