| S is for the sales, after Christmas Day; A is for the agony when you have to pay. N is for the night before, with paper, tape, and strings; T is for the toys that break and all those other things. A is for addressing cards to every friend and foe. C is for commercialism, old timers ought to know. L is for little kids and love they try to earn. A is for the awful gift you always must return; U is for the untied nerves that every parent has. S is for St. Nicholas, another Christmas passed. (Kathy Sherman) |
