Council Speaks

Student Council has begun to organize some new and different projects. Calendar girl nominations were taken last Thursday, and the elections will be over by Christmas vacation. There will be 12 girls plus a cover girl.

Organization committee has planned a new event which will be held at the Maine South basketball game. There will be a tug-of-war game between the fans from both the schools. Whichever team wins will keep the rope until the next year, and for each year won there will be either a red or a gold piece hung on the rope.
Social committee will soon be making plans for the formal dance to be held in January. There will not be a usual Christmas formal because there are no free weekends before the vacation, and the school would prefer not to open up for a dance.

On January 25 there will be a Donkey-Basketball Game held in the spectator gym. The M-Club will be challenging the faculty once again.
