Club Happenings

Aquiana has picked a theme for their spring talent show. It is called "Splashback" and takes a nostalgic look at the past. Tryouts for solos, duets, and trios begin the third Wednesday after Christmas vacation. This information comes from Mrs. Patrice Kopp, girls' physical education teacher.

Pegasus is planning a horse show in the early spring, according to club sponsor, Miss Mary Forrest. Pegasus goes riding every Friday. Club memberships are open, Miss Forrest says.

Orchesis, the modern dance club, performed at basketball halftime on December 17. After Christmas, there will be another show on April 14-15.
GRA held a home sports day on Saturday, January 8. The girls' volleyball team sponsored the event and seven other schools attended. There were Maine South and North, Glenbrook North, Niles East and West, New Trier West, and Barrington.

Ski buffs are in for a treat on Saturday, January 15, at Little Switzerland, Wisconsin. The skiers will also take a weekend trio to Boyne, Michigan, on February 4-7. On February 19 Ski Club will go to Wintergreen and on March 4 to Chestnut Mountain. On Friday nights, Wilmot trips will be made, if weather permits. The cost is $4.75. Equipment can be rented for $7.75.
