The Grains of Sand Shall Speak |
||||||||||
| The grains of sand shall speak of The foolishness they've seen Among the children of false love, Where the grains of sand have been. They have witnessed contemplation Within the storms of hate and love. They will speak of the hesitation Upon the soft wings of the dove. |
They are quite secure with wisdom About the rivers of life and love. They would know what to advise Against the heartbreaks they speak of. The grains of sand shall speak Of when a rock is really a rock, And not a fool's clump of dirt - quite weak, Which crushes very easily amid the waves beneath the dock. |
