Hard Times Hit Cindermen
Opening their indoor track season on January 25, the Warriors traveled to Proviso West. Proviso dominated the meet and won 74-35.

Kevin Wright '72 got the Warriors off to a fine start with a first in the two mile. He also picked up a third in the mile. Gary Holub '72 and Bob Berquist '72 finished first and second in the 440 yard dash. Bill Klippert '74 grabbed a first in the low hurdles and a second in the highs. Steve Suckow '72 grabbed a third in the long jump.
 On February 2 the cindermen hosted Palatine. The Warriors came out on the short end by a score of 61-48.

Wright and Chip Barbour '73 finished second and third in the two mile. Suckow picked up a first in the shot. Bob Chapman and Bob Hicklin finished second and third in the 50. Farmer placed second in the 880. Hicklin and Mike Paul '73 finished first and third in the 440. Wayne Gyssler placed second in the long jump, high jump, and pole vault. Berquist grabbed a first in the long jump.
