Tryouts Over, Season Begins
Last year the Girls' Badminton Team won the western division championship. They lost, though, to the eastern division in the playoffs.

| Tryouts for the Girls' Badminton Team were held last Friday, February 4, and last Wednesday, February 9. The team will hold its first meet on Wednesday, February 23, against Evanston, which will be non-conference. The first of their nine conference meets will be held on Thursday, March 2. At the close of the season there will be a Badminton Invitational which will include all of the northern suburban schools. | The goal of this year's team will be to try to equal or better the record of last year. When asked how she thought this year's team will perform, Miss Royleen Tipton, sponsor, commented, "Although this is a rebuilding year, I expect the team to be strong."
