Bears To Challenge In |

| The Chicago Bears will oppose the faculty on March 17 in the Maine West spectator gymnasium in a basketball game. Tickets are on sale at the bookstore and at the Great Pants Explosion on Miner Street in Des Plaines for $2. Tickets will also be sold at the door. The members of the Chicago Bears team will include Doug Buffone, Jack Concannon, Bobby Douglass, Jim Grabowski, Willie Holmon, George Seals, Dick Gordon, Cyril Pinder, Jim Seymor, Greg Schumacher, Earl Thomas, Don Shy, and Rick Coady. |
The Maine West faculty team will include Messrs. Phil Kardasz, Ervin Geisler, Don Olson, Leslie Jannusch, Don Talbot, Bob Dillingham, John Amason, Ron Brown, Dan Carlson, and Ken Schreiner. The proceeds from the game will go toward the purchase of new athletic equipment for the school. On Tuesday and Wednesday before the game Dick Gordon, Bobby Douglass, and Doug Buffone will be in the cafeteria during all of the lunch periods to shake hands and give autographs. The game is sponsored by the Maine West Boosters, formerly known as the Maine West Dads' Club. |
