| For those newly registered voters and other interested students, campaign headquarters for the various political parties are now opening. Volunteer typists are needed as are people to answer the telephone. | The Democratic headquarters is located in Evanston, and the nearest Republican headquarters is located on Miner Street in Des Plaines. These places have political literature for reference or research. Working in conjunction with organizations such as these offers great experience in the modern political system, according to one party representative. | |||||||||
