Maine West would like to welcome 13 new teachers to their 1972‑73 faculty roster.

Mrs. JoAnn Cimo who previously taught at Maine East is a new member of the Art Department. Mrs. Jeanette Wiederhold is a data processing instructor for the Business Education Department.

Three teachers have been added to the Industrial Education Department. Auto shop welcomes Mr. Barry Bianco from Chicago State College and Mr. Mark Sauerland who attended Northern Illinois University. Mr. Daniel Johnson graduated from Northern Illinois University and will be teaching print shop.

Another Northern Illinois University graduate, Mr. Darrell Green, has been added to the boys' Physical Education Department as a health teacher and head swimming coach. Also added to the same department is Mr. James Morel, who previously taught at Maine North. Mr. Morel will serve as head football coach at Maine West.

The girls' Physical Education Department welcomes Mrs. Terry Milam as their addition. Mrs. Milam graduated from the University of California.

Mr. Michael Burke will work for the Science Department and also serve as this year's tennis coach.

The Language Department has added Mrs. Rachel Skalinder, who graduated from the University of Chicago as a French teacher.

Mr. Paul Magnussen and Mr. Theodore Varges have joined the Maine West Music Department. Mr. Vargas, previously on the staff at Maine East, will be assisting with choral direction. Mr. Magnussen, an Ohio State University graduate, will serve as an assistant band director.

Mr. Dennis Mazur concludes the list of new teachers. Mr. Mazur will join the faculty on November 1. Mr. Mazur, a former gymnast, will serve as an assistant gymnastics coach as well as a Driver Education instructor.
