Why Do You Say No Tomorrow?

By JILL FALSTAD

Each month the Chicagoland Christian Center sponsors a Jesus Rally held at McCormick Place. Last month, Hal Lindsey, the author of the Late Great Planet Earth spoke to a capacity crowd.

Hal Lindsey's message was so popular because it is relevant to every person in the world. He has interpreted what the Bible says about the future of the world and the return of Christ.

Russia has been equipping the Arab nations with arms, and just recently they have separated themselves from these countries. China boasts of an army of 200,000,000 at this moment. Today in Europe the progress of a common market is well under way with seven members and three prospective members. Their goal is an economic unity giving them world power.

We are drastically aware of increasing wars, floods, worldwide famines, and earthquakes. People everywhere are aware of the changing moral codes and the increasing interest in supernatural powers, such as ESP and astrology. After hundreds of years of persecution, the nationality of the Jewish people still exists, and they have returned to Israel to reestablish their country.

What part does the increasing interest in Christianity as a life style play in the plan of tomorrow? World wide evangelism is on the upswing and in almost every country there are several servants of the Lord spreading the Word of God.

Are these facts just part of a continuing history of the world or pieces of a living puzzle?

Never has any scientific information been found that contradicts what was written many years ago in the Bible. In fact, scientific finds have often been used to establish Biblical truths. Because of this, and because of personal experiences with Jesus, Hal Lindsey has devoted his life to telling people all over the world about the shocking and exciting revelations recorded in the Bible.

The return of the Jews to Israel along with many other prophecies, was predicted in the Bible. According to the Bible an army of 200,000,000 will march from the east of Israel. The significance is placed on Israel because of 3 million dollars of phosphorous at the bottom of the Red Sea.

A 10 nation confederacy was foretold several times in the Old Testament. From these countries is to rise a world ruler. He; amazing people with his supernatural powers, will come offering peace, winch is what the world has been crying for decades.

Before the birth of Jesus Christ, many prophecies stated in the Old Testament had to be fulfilled. Many of the prophecies concerning the last generation and the "later days" have been fulfilled in our time.

"Each man must decide for himself where his future lies." You must decide if this is a beautifully planned sequence or some fanatic's mistake.
