Ski Club will hold a ski swap on Tuesday, September 26, in order to sell and swap new and/or used equipment. The swap will be held during ninth period and after school in D‑108.
Equipment must be brought in Friday and Monday to be tagged for the swap. A cash only basis is planned for the swap. For more information, contact Mr. Roger Osborne. sponsor, in C‑111 during eighth or ninth period.
As of yet, Ski Club hasn't decided on a definite date for their first meeting. Plans are already being made for a Homecoming float. Details will be announced at the same time of the first meeting.
A three day trip to Indianhead, Michigan, is planned for February. During Easter vacation, the club will also travel to Park City, Utah.
Weather permitting, Ski Club makes Friday trips to Wilmot Mountain. According to Debbie Peterson '73, president, several Saturday trips are being scheduled this year also.

U and U Society is a service organization open to both boys and girls. The society ushers at various activities at the school including the school plays, V‑Show, the Junior Prom, and Open House.
September 29 is the tentative date set for a picnic planned to introduce the members to each other. For further information about joining the society, contact Mrs. Joan Plock, sponsor, in A‑212.
Various programs are being planned by the Future Teachers of America Club involving the use of audio‑visual equipment, child development, children with disabilities, arts and crafts, talks with student teachers, speech usage, summer school teaching, and counseling for college.
According to the club sponsor, Mrs. Plock, "Anyone who plans to be a teacher should be in FTA." Students interested in joining the club who missed the kick‑off day on September 14 can contact Mrs. Plock in A‑212.
