Student Council presents a Maine West "Super Saturday," tomorrow starting at 11 am. with a carnival. Twenty‑three Maine West clubs and organizations will have different booths at the carnival. Ten cent tickets will be sold at the door by Student Council representatives. Seventy per cent of the profit will go to various clubs and 30 per cent to Student Council.
Along with the booths there will be a pocket lady, balloons, and concessions sold by Food Occupations Club. The Carnival will be held in the cafeteria and C‑wing gym. This activity will end at 4 p.m.
Beginning at 3:30 p.m. those whose hunger pangs cannot be stilled by cotton candy will have an opportunity to participate in an "all you can eat" spaghetti dinner which will also be held in the cafeteria.
Brotherhood is jointly sponsoring this activity with Student Council, and its members will be selling tickets which are $1.50 for adults and $1 for children under 12. Tickets will also be sold at the door. The price entitles you to a drink, salad, French bread with butter, and all the spaghetti you can eat. The dinner ends at 6:30.
At 7 p.m. activity starts again with a fifties playnite. All students are asked to wear fifties clothes, and a prize will be awarded for the best outfits. From 7 to 8:30 p.m. there will be roller-skating and volleyball.

In order for students to get into the fifties mood, the juke box in the senior lounge will be playing fifties records today and Student Council has officially declared today as Fifties Day. All students are asked to get into the spirit by dressing in fifties clothes and wearing them to school today.
Student Council came up with the idea of a Maine West weekend about a month ago. It was decided to combine all activities into one day and was christened "Super Saturday." Vice-president of Student Council, Cheryl Kuecker '73, has been at the head of activities and has worked closely with President's Council on the carnival.
Enthusiasm for the event is high in Student Council as seen in Brock Aker's '74 comment, "Super Saturday will be an excellent way to unify school activities and those involved in them. I only hope that this will be successful as much work has been put into it."
Student Council secretary, Sue Anderson '73, says, "Everyone seems to complain about nothing to do, so we are giving you a whole day's activities. Come out and try it. I know you'll have a good time."
